Chocolate Covered Strawberry Martini

I hear it’s Valentine’s day tomorrow. All the parent’s of the world understand how this day means a romantic dinner at home because who wants to babysit on Valentine’s?? Honestly, I would rather be home. We can whip something delicious up, play a board game and….ahem…enjoy each other’s “company.”

Add this martini to your evening. I promise it will make it perfect.

OH! And the Van Gogh vodka? You CANNOT substitute it for another chocolate vodka. Trust me. After doing my own investigative research, I found that this is the absolute best chocolate vodka out there. Don’t skimp and get the Godiva cause it’s just not as good. at all.

2oz Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate Vodka
2oz Strawberry Simple Syrup
(water, sugar)

To make simple syrup add a clamshell of cleaned chopped strawberries, 3/4 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil then simmer until syrup. Strain.

Add equal parts vodka and strawberry syrup to shaker, shake. Serve cold.
